Dr. John L. Wang received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC with research focus on cellular physiology. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital / University of Miami School of Medicine where he also served as chief resident.
Dr. Wang also achieved additional training in joint replacement at the Hospital for Special Surgery, American’s oldest and #1 ranked orthopaedic hospital. He completed a clinical fellowship with the division of adult reconstruction and joint replacement, and his research there focused on established and novel treatments of hip and knee arthritis.
Dr. Wang specialized in primary total knee and total hip replacements, as well as more complex revision procedures. His surgical philosophy calls for minimally invasive muscle sparing techniques to promote fast recovery and long lasting results.
Dr. Wang is on staff at Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Delray Medical Center, Boca Raton Regional Hospital, JFK Medical Center and Good Samaritan Medical Center.
